What is “baking”?

Has a friend ever mentioned baking their face, which in turn left you confused? Don’t worry, we're here to help! Trust me, your friend didn’t create that picture-perfect finish with an easy bake oven.

So, what is “baking”? Some of you are thinking about your favorite baked goods right? Wrong! When we talk about baking, were talking about a makeup technique that elevates that final finish your looking for

When your friend said they were baking their face, they meant that they were setting their base makeup with a translucent powder for about 5 to 10 minutes, then dusting it off their face for a creaseless and flawless finish. For all those who may not understand this concept, let’s go through the steps:

5 Quick easy steps!

  • Apply creamunder and around your eyes to hydrate your skin.
  • Apply a good amount of concealer under your eyes with adamp makeup sponge/beauty blender.
  • Dust on your favourite setting powder (preferably one that matches your skin tone) with a fluffy eyeshadow or blush brush and leave for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Now dust it off, add your finishing touches and voilà! Perfection
